iPod troubleshooting is not as hard as I thought. It is probably not as hard as you think either. I am not a college graduate, but now I can fix my iPod without too much of a problem. If your screen got wet or your battery is getting weak more than likely it will not take much to repair your iPod too. You just need a little patience and some good instructions. I took the initiative one day to look into what it would take to do my own iPod troubleshooting. I was a little bit curious as to how to replace my weak battery. It was not lasting near as long as it use to. After looking online I found most things about that little iPod battery were something I could deal with. What I found I could do is take a little piece of plastic and go around the outer edges of the iPod. This opens my iPod up quite handily. After it is open the rest is easy.

The last time my iPod touch had a frozen screen it took a little bit of searching online to find out what to do. When I saw how easy it was I was more confident that iPod troubleshooting was a breeze. The battery was easy to replace and the frozen screen was not that much harder. That old saying; “Live and Learn” is applicable right here.

If anyone out there has an iPod that is acting up and needs some repair, the good news is that you can do what I did. I have had a little bit of experience with electronics repair in the past. I did not need to use it to fix my iPod. The iPod troubleshooting I learned came from pages I found online. I recommend you do the same for your iPod repair problems.

iTunes 6.0.2 is capable of converting Quick-Time compatible video formats into iPod-ready video files. These formats can be MOV, MPEG and MP4. These files are converted to H.264 format video. The first step is to add your video clips to your iTunes library. This can be done by simply dragging and dropping them into your iTunes library window. Select the files you want to convert and then right click on your mouse button. A menu will popup and you have to select the option ‘Convert Selection for iPod’. iTunes will automatically convert the selected files into an iPod-ready video format. You will be able to monitor the status of the conversion process by clicking on ‘Source’ and then ‘Converting Songs’.

After converting your video clips, you now how two files with the same content. You may delete the older file. It is very easy to distinguish between the two files. All you have to do is to check the file properties and look at the ‘Date Added’ column.

Now that your video clips are compatible to your iPod, you may now transfer the files and begin viewing your favorite video clips anytime and anywhere!
